Staff long term service recognised

On Thursday 9th November RG Falla hosted a celebration to recognise two staff who have between them served 92 years with the company.

Henry Main celebrates 50 years of service at RG Falla having risen through the company from a carpenter to Operations Director. Henry is currently working part-time having reached retirement age last year, but remains active in managing our works for select key Clients. Henry was originally employed in 1967 by RG Falla himself and broadened his knowledge of construction into Management roles on numerous local projects including the conversion of the old hospital into the current police station in the early1990’s.

Peter Dodsworth started with RG Falla in 1975 as an apprentice carpenter and is now in his 42nd year of service as a Finishing Foreman at our prestigious Havelet Waters residential project. Peter acted as apprentice to Henry in his 4th and 5th year apprenticeship having gained the South West of England Apprentice of the Year Award in both his 2nd and 3rd Years. Peter has worked on and managed many fine properties in Guernsey including schools, nightclubs, offices, civic buildings and many fine homes.
