R G FALLA LIMITED PICK UP TWO AWARDS IN GUERNSEY DESIGN AWARDS 2016
The Guernsey Design Awards seek to recognise the exemplary work that enhances our built environment and this year showed a fantastic range of project from all shortlisted entries.
Held on 31st March in the Princess Royal Centre for Performing Arts, the Guernsey Design Awards showcased 17 shortlisted entries and presented six awards to the architects and contractors of the winning design projects.
Five of the awards were judged by a panel of representatives from sponsor, Norman Piette, the Guernsey Society of Architects and the States of Guernsey Environment Department. The sixth award for the People’s Choice category was chosen by members of the public via on online vote.
RG Falla’s first award was in the Non-Residential (over £250k) category. The project was the refurbishment of the Crown Club in the Old Government House Hotel. The architect was Dunnell Robertson Partnership.
The second award was in the Residential Renovation/Extension (over £250k) category. The project was the renovation and extension of a private house called Horizons on Fort George. The architect was Jamie Falla Architecture.
