GOOD PROGRESS BEING MADE WITH THE SLAUGHTERHOUSE PROJECT
Having commenced on site in April 2016, R G Falla Limited are now well into the creation of a new bar, restaurant and live performance venue at the former Guernsey Slaughterhouse, Castle Emplacement on behalf of Randalls of Guernsey.
The project has reached the final stages of replacing all the roof coverings at the historic building having carefully taken down the old ones. A new mezzanine floor has been installed inside the perimeter of the main building which will allow diners to enjoy magnificent views of Havelet Bay and the Albert marina. A new timber frame extension has been built in the courtyard linking the main building to an out building. This will house a new commercial kitchen, an outside bar with bi-folding doors and new toilets. Mechanical & Electrical installation is underway along with new floor screeds and internal walls.
Ian Carre, R G Falla Limited site agent comments “We are delighted to continue our association with Randalls of Guernsey following the refurbishment of The Rockmount and La Reunion. Everybody is excited to see what Randall’s latest addition to the Guernsey hospitality scene will be like.”
