The Guernsey Housing Association worked in partnership with Health and Social Care to provide high quality accommodation in order to help recruit and retain much needed key workers.

The development at Beauville comprises 14 one-bed flats, 2 two-bed houses and 6 three-bed houses.

The development was the winner of the Multiple Residential Development Award at the 2020 Guernsey Design Awards. All of the homes have been designed to meet the requirements of the GHA in terms of space standards, amenity, adaptability, energy efficiency and construction and running costs, as well as maximizing the potential of the site.

All buildings have been constructed with high levels of cavity insulation, utilising new insulation technologies. Coupled with uprated SIPS roofs these create exceptional thermal performance and air tightness. Mechanical ventilation and heat recovery systems and solar hot water panels ensure high levels of energy efficiency and low running costs for tenants.
