Maison Maraitaine is a new “extra care” facility comprising of a mixture of one and two bedroom flats, 63 in total. Work started in August 2012 and completed in February 2016.

Maison Maraitaine

The first phase was built on the site of the existing care home which was fully operational through the building works. With phase one operational it allowed the old existing care home to be demolished, making way for phase two.

As well as the flats there are several communal facilities including The Willows Day centre, restaurant, hairdressers, therapy room, and community library. The project was D&B contract with a combined value of £19 Million.
