Mark Palfrey

Mark Palfrey

Managing Director

Mark joined RG Falla in 1992 having trained as a Quantity Surveyor with UK construction company Geoffrey Osborne Ltd. A Chartered Builder and Chartered Director, Mark has held board positions on a variety of Garenne Group companies including Amalgamated Facilities Management in both Jersey and Guernsey and as Managing Director of RG Falla’s sister company in Jersey; Camerons Ltd.
Mark is a Garenne Group main board director and is past Chairman of the Guernsey branch of the Institute of Directors, a past chairman of the Guernsey branch of the Chartered Institute of Building, a past President of the Jersey Building Employers Federation and he has twice Chaired the Guernsey Building Trade Employers Association.
Charitable work on the Island includes being a Trustee of Help a Guernsey Child.

Peter Gregory

Peter Gregory

Contracts Director

Peter Gregory is an experienced Contracts Director working in large mixed use developments. He has experience in Quantity Surveying from both the professional and contracting sides.

Since joining R G Falla in 1991, Peter has been involved in many notable projects, including the Credit Suisse Offices, Brecqhou Island, Trafalgar Court, Marina View, Les Nicolles High School and more recently Les Beaucamps High school and La Nouvelle Maraitaine.

With over 25 years working for RG Falla, Peter brings extensive knowledge and experience to any project team.

Dean Winsall

Dean Winsall

Commercial Director

Dean moved to Guernsey in July 2001 to work for RG Falla having started in the construction industry as a Trainee Quantity Surveyor for Costain Construction Limited. Dean worked on various construction, civil engineering and refurbishment projects until senior QS level. Dean has also worked with RR Richardson plc and Bovis Lend Lease on various projects ranging from £125k to £4m.

Since joining RG Falla, Dean has been involved with many significant projects around the island including the Royal Courts Development and more recently, La Nouvelle Maraitaine. He is an experienced proactive commercial manager.

Mike Wagstaff

Mike Wagstaff

Commerical Director

Mike joined R G Falla in 2002 after having gained considerable experience and in the UK working with several large construction companies and gaining the position of Senior Quantity Surveyor.

Mike’s first Guernsey project was the Trafalgar Court office development and car park. He then moved on as Commercial Director to head the commercial team on both St Sampsons High School and Les Beaucamps High School thereby consolidating his Island Experience.

Mike’s varied project experience and local knowledge will be an asset to any project. His recent experience on large school projects will add immeasurable value to the procurement process.

Mike has 20 years’ experience in the construction industry.

Paul Mason

Paul Mason

Construction Director

Paul joined R G Falla in 1992, having previously worked for UK Contractor Higgs and Hill on the construction of several large projects including a multi-million pound banking centre.

Since joining RG Falla, Paul has worked as a Site Agent and Project Manager on many notable projects such as the Garenne Stand Stadium, new Post Headquarters, Les Bourgs Hospice and Les Beaucamps High School. Paul is well versed in the managing complexities of large and technical construction sites.

In April 2014 Paul became a liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Constructors at a ceremony at the Stationers Hall in the City of London.


The company is a traditional main contractor in that it employs tradesmen and semi-skilled workers as well as professionally trained management staff. They are proud of their record in the employment of apprentices in a range of trades and especially proud that 18 of the team have been with the company for over 25 years. A continued training regime and regular infusions of short term staff appointments from the UK and France enables the whole team to stay up to date and capable of competing with the best.
